Connie Burket entered the professional workforce as an arts educator in 1986, serving for five years as Education Director for Salina Arts & Humanities and for twenty years as Director of the Kansas Alliance for Arts Education. She is motivated by a strong belief that every child should have access to the creative, cultural, cognitive, and community-building benefits of art.
